tcworld Conference 2012 in Wiesbaden

We spent the last couple of days at the tcworld conference in Wiesbaden, Germany. The tcworld conference is the most important technical communicators' conference in Europe. With a lot of english speaking tracks it is an internationally well recognized event.

K15t Software und Atlassian

K15t Software and Atlassian joined forces and set up a booth at the trade fair. The slogan of the booth was: Wiki-based Documentation. During the three days at the fair we had almost no spare time. We experienced the subject of wiki-based documentation really is a topic in the community of technical writers. We had a lot of really interesting talks and met great people at our booth. We where showing to people how to use Confluence plus the Scroll add-ons as an authoring and single source publishing solution for technical writing and they really liked it.

Many of our visitors said their companies where already using confluence, and they where delighted by the idea of using it as a fully featured authoring solution.

Don't drink and write

The first night at the event is always dedicated to a big meet up with all conference attendees. K15t Software and Atlassian where sponsoring beer and pretzels. Besides we gave away our "Don't drink and write" T-shirts.
