Hi Valentina! First of all, please tell us something about yourself and about your role at K15t.

Hey I'm Valentina, and I work for K15t as a consultant focusing on documentation with Confluence and our Atlassian Marketplace Scroll Apps.
I write blog posts, give trainings, and help our customers successfully write their own technical documentation.

How did you hear about the open position at K15t and what made you apply?

During my master's program I attended a lecture about "HTML-based Technical Documentation" which was when I first heard about K15t.
They were presenting their Atlassian Confluence s
olution for technical documentation called Enlite. That's when I decided to explore the positions at K15t and found one that fit.

What makes working at K15t special for you?

I really like the mindset of the company and that people get the chance to actively contribute.

Another big plus is the
socialization between colleagues, which is very pleasant to me. For example, there is a group of us who get together regularly just to do something creative like paint, draw or play music. I really love these evenings.

(You can find a lot of pictures about our K15t work life on our Instagram account.)

What impact does K15t's culture have on your work?

I mentioned the socialization before. It really encourages us all to push ourselves to learn and grow together. And while no one is perfect, I think we're all respectful of each other and try to do our best when faced with different challenges day-to-day.

What's your best memory of working at K15t?

There are two memories that stand out.

One is from a "Be Creative Together" evening. It was in January '20 and we had no clue it would be our last evening in person before the pandemic arrived. We knitted, did some macrame, and even built a little wine rack.

The second is from summer '20, when we played Kubb together in the park near the K15t office. It was right after Hacketse (our 24-hour company hackathon), so we were already in a good mood. It was so great to see some of my colleagues in person again.

Enough about work, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any tips for things to do in Stuttgart?

People who come to Stuttgart should definitely go for a guided Stäffeles-Tour. It gives you the chance to explore Stuttgart from another point of view. And after the tour, you absolutely deserve a cold beer or "Viertele" (a quarter liter of wine).

I can also recommend a small theater called Theater der AltstadtThere are so many different cultural options in Stuttgart. You can also go for a wine tour and visit these cute wineries (swabian dialect: Besen). In my free time I enjoy a few different sports, read a lot, and meet outdoors with friends.

Of course there is way more to talk about, but to hear more, you'll need to get to know me personally 😉

Thank you so much for your time!
