In this issue, we look back at the biggest Confluence updates, our proudest K15t moments, and the community highlights that shaped 2025.
Wrapping Up 2025
Let’s start our annual tradition with reflecting on the most significant Atlassian and Confluence moments of 2025, celebrating our community, and sharing a few favorite memories.
Let’s go!
Our Atlassian Highlights
With so much happening across the Atlassian universe this year, it’s worth pausing to reflect on the changes, innovations, and community achievements that made 2025 memorable.
AI Integration and the Rise of Rovo
2025 was the year Rovo moved from a niche feature to the heart of the Atlassian ecosystem. Rovo’s Search, Chat, and Agents became available across more Cloud plans, making AI-powered knowledge discovery and automation accessible to everyone. Rovo Agents, in particular, became a hot topic, helping teams automate tasks and find information faster than ever. For best practices and tips, take a look at our Rovo article.
End of Atlassian Data Center (EOL)
It was only a matter of time, but the news still made waves: Atlassian officially announced the end-of-life for their data center products, with support ending March 28, 2029. This marks a major shift as Atlassian focuses exclusively on the cloud. If you’re planning your migration, read our support statement and migration tips.
Cloud for Enterprises
Atlassian Cloud became more robust this year. Highlights include 55% faster loading times, support for up to 150,000 users in a single instance, and new deployment options like Atlassian Government Cloud and Isolated Cloud for high-security needs. These improvements make the cloud a true enterprise-grade platform.
Our Year in Review
We hope you found as much inspiration and value in 2025 as we did sharing it with you. Whether you joined us at events, tuned in to our livestreams, or sent us your thoughts and feedback, your engagement made this year truly special. 😇
Here’s a look back at some highlights and contributions we were excited to bring you throughout this year.
Revamping the Collaboration Hub
We gave our Collaboration Hub a fresh new look, making it easier to find best practices, tutorials, and bite-sized videos to help you master Confluence.
WDOC Redesign and Celebration
We redesigned the Weekly Dose of Confluence newsletter for a cleaner, more engaging reading experience. And – drumroll, please – we reached our 100th issue and celebrated that with a giveaway. Thank you for being part of this journey and for all your feedback and support.
11 Ways to Master Confluence
Also, we hosted 11 livestreams with different Atlassian product managers to bring valuable insights, news, and sneak peeks into Atlassian features like Databases, Audio Briefings, Whiteboards, and more. Your energy and curiosity brought our live streams to life. Thanks for joining the conversation, sharing your thoughts, and making each session memorable. We hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as we have, and we can’t wait to connect with you again soon!
Our Most-Watched Project of the Year
This year, one project stood out above everything else: our Beautiful Pages in Confluence video. With more than 100,000 views, it became your all-time favorite, and ours too.
So we decided it was time for an update. We’ve recorded a fresh version that reflects the latest Confluence features and best practices, and we can’t wait to see it reach 100,000 views again… or even more.
Exclusive Interview with Atlassian
One of our personal highlights was clearly that we got to talk to Atlassian’s Head of Product for Confluence, Jefferson Taylor. So when he took the time to chat with us at Team ’25 Europe, we made the most of it. What followed was an open conversation about how Atlassian is shaping the future of collaboration, and why culture still comes first.
You can watch the interview or read our article about the key takeaways.
Happy Holidays!
From all of us at K15t, thank you for your support, questions, and enthusiasm throughout 2025. Your engagement inspires us to keep sharing, learning, and growing together, and it reminds us why we love doing what we do.
As we wrap up the year, we’re grateful for every message, every comment, and every moment you chose to spend with us. Whether you joined a livestream, read an article, or shared our content with your team, you helped make this community stronger and better informed.
This is our last newsletter of the year, so from our team to yours, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a great start to 2026.
We can’t wait to keep learning and creating with you in the new year.
Cheers,
Your Weekly Dose of Confluence Team
