Atlassian
The Write the Docs NA 2016 technical documentation conference wrapped up late last month. The final talk of the event was "Atlassian: My Information Experience Adventure" by Daniel Stevens (view it here). Daniel's talk described how the Atlassian tech writing team redefined itself and moved from QA to become part of the design team to present an over-arching information experience. Part of the process was to redesign their Confluence-housed docs pages, and they used Scroll Viewport to bring the changes to life. Agile Docs in Austin
Mary Connor, technical writer at Austin Texas-based Caringo, recently gave her talk "DocOps: Documentation at the Speed of Agile" at a Write the Docs meetup (slideshow here). Her presentation included a primer on agile documentation in general, a look at DocOps in particular, and a guide to building a successful DocOps approach.
