Dev Together @ K15t Software: Videos and Slides from the Event

Last week, we held a developer event here at the K15t Software office. It was a wonderful evening with our customers and friends enjoying pizza, drinks, and expert talks from Atlassian.

Here are the presentation slides and video recordings.

Dev Together

On October 30th, the K15t Software office was unusually crowded as Sarah Goff-Dupont and Joseph Clark joined us for two developer expert talks. In this year's second developer event at our Stuttgart office, attendees had the opportunity to learn from two incredibly knowledgeable Atlassians. The topics of the evening were continuous integration (CI), version management with Git, and development best practices from Atlassian.

Super-powered CI with Git

What do Git hooks and super heroes have in common? In her excellent talk, Sarah Goff-Dupont, Product Marketing Manager Bamboo of Atlassian, spoke about Continuous Integration (CI) challenges and Git, and how both can join forces to get releases out of the door. Now we know: Continuous integration with Git is not only possible, it's super-powerful!

The slides of Sarah’s presentation are available on Slideshare.

The lifecycle of a feature: best practices to ensure high-quality features are released in a timely manner

Joseph Clark, Developer Relations Engineer of Atlassian and a huge Star Wars fan, held an inspiring presentation drawing on over 8 years’ experience as a developer on the JIRA, FishEye and Stash teams at Atlassian. He took us through the life cycle of a feature – from a twinkle in a product manager’s eye, all the way to the deployment and usage analysis.

The slides of Joseph's talk are available on Slideshare.
